"I absolutely loved this hotel!!! Everything was outstanding! My jaw dropped when I drove up to it and even more when I entered the lobby! This is a very aesthetically pleasing hotel from both the outside and the inside lobby and room!! It is immaculately clean and exceptionally well taken care of! The front desk staff were outstanding in their friendliness and with their assistance! The gentleman, I believe his name is Jeffery, on the night I arrived was the part of the reason I even found the hotel after a long drive from Brandon, MS. He gave me excellent directions when I realized that I didn't know where I was going and went too far towards Joplin. When I arrived he was very courtesy and we had a wonderful chat that I will never forget about the hotel history and the history of the owners that was fascinating since I am a history lover. The lady on the front desk in the morning was also very friendly and helpful in giving me directions. This hotel is so appealing I wish I could go back that way just to stay there again. The room was gorgeous with a glass enclosed shower with a rain head and a great bed! The lobby has a beautiful fireplace just as you come through the sliding glass doors into this massive grand lobby with this gorgeous front desk area off to the side. The casino area had a restaurant that was open late so I could grab a grilled cheese before heading to my room (very delicious too) which was wonderful since I didn't have time to stop for supper on my way!"
