"We had a lovely weekend in the Shepherd's hut. Very cosy. It is in a very rural position but only a short drive from Beccles and Bungay- we loved the foodie shops in Bungay and the on-site farm shop. It was great to pop out in the morning to grab still warm eggs from the chicken coop, and the goats and piglets kept us thoroughly amused. A really relaxing stay."

"A lovely quiet place perfect for a night away. Clean and comfortable. Great host, always there to help out. Just be aware that the hot tub is a paid extra, something that is not mentioned but that is not the hosts fault. They are unsure why that information is missing from the listing. Hotels.com were useless at trying to sort that out. But don't hesitate to book this place, just maybe drop them a message about using the hot tub first. Great location ( near pub, shops, fantastic cafe. ) The only downside was automatic check in didn’t go smoothly and very hard to contact anyone so took almost an hour of hanging around before we could access room. Such a shame because otherwise it was great! Hopefully this will be rectified and not happen in the future for other guests."

"A really nice hotel for a special occasion, the staff were both friendly and helpful, while food was lovely. We stayed in the Boutique Suite, which was wonderful. The reason for 4 rather than 5 stars was because the jacuzzi bath had an issue with the plug, which meant we were not able to enjoy this as much as we would have liked due to the bath losing water. This was reported to reception. While the food was lovely, we were bombarded by flies in the restaurant, which was a bit annoying when you're trying to enjoy a nice meal. Other than that, we had a lovely stay and will happily return again in the near the future."
