"Room is clean albeit small but functional for what we need. Excellent and polite staff members from receptionist to cleaning crews to the restaurant staff. Excellent beach view and Hercules tower is visible. Limited choices breakfast buffet but excellent quality."

"Hotel Avenida is a decent choice if you want proximity to the A Coruña bus terminal or train station, both of which are, by the way, separate but not far from each other. While the walk from either is but a few minutes by foot, you do have to negotiate twisty roads, overpasses and stairs. The amenities at the hotel are what you would expect from a three star hotel. Rooms are smart yet not overly elegant. My room was noisy as it faced a busy road but it was perfectly soundproofed. Staff was gracious, hospitable, knowledgeable, and friendly. High marks for the efficiency. I did not eat in the restaurant but it seemed like that had a pretty good continental breakfast."

"Excellent location, you walk out in front of the beach. At walking distance to the city center and to the Hercules tower. Courteous and friendly staff , from the room service to the front desk staff. What you expect from a hotel when you take a few days to visit a new place."
