Moose Mountain Lodge While guests of Moose Mountain may not see any moose in Brown County, they are totally likely to see plenty of other wildlife. Within the boundaries of the 100-acre property on which the three-bedroom cabin sits, there are birds, squirrels, raccoons, and deer a-plenty…so bring your binoculars and get ready for fun. The hilltop views are spectacular, whether you’re on the porch or enjoying a soak in the hot tub. Moose Mountain is a spacious log cabin that offers a wood-burning fireplace in the living room , and comfy furniture surrounding it for your flame-gazing pleasure. Hiking, fishing, horseback riding, mountain biking, and shopping…all entertaining activities available to you throughout Brown County…can really work up an appetite.
You’ll be thankful for the fully equipped country kitchen, with plenty of space and utensils to cook a family dinner for your hungry tribe. There’s a nice, big dining table to gather round for meals or board games. Two TVs with satellite service will allow movie buffs and sports enthusiasts to enjoy their favorites.
When night falls, everybody has a cozy bed to crawl into for that much deserved slumber. There’s a queen-sized bed in the master bedroom, and one of the bedrooms features twin beds. Another bedroom also has a queen bed, as well. All bedrooms are on the main level, and a full bath, plus a half-bath means less “standing-in-line” time.
Well-behaved pets are invited to come along on the family outing…and there’s plenty of room to run on the very private and secluded property. So many new smells to investigate, your pooch will have a heyday!
We want to make our guests aware that Moose Mountain’s water supply comes from a well…and while it is perfectly fine to drink, you may want to consider bringing bottled water along for your stay, as not everyone appreciates the finer points of country well-water.

The property is absolutely beautiful. Just having ankle surgery a few months ago I liked that it was accessible with minimal stairs. We loved the decor, privacy and the breathtaking views. It was perfect for our small family Easter dinner. Had all the amenities you could ask for. This was by far our favorite stay in Brown county and we go there ALOT !!!
If you're looking for a secluded cabin on the top of a mountain with 360 views, you have found the perfect cabin! It was clean and feels like home. Loved that they had free firewood. The management company was easy to deal with and the communication was great! The only hiccups for us was that we could not use the fireplace for more than 30 minutes at a time. The smoke would start coming into the house and was very strong. The flue was open each time we tried. Also, some of the dishes were dirty but we wash the dishes before we use them. Besides that everything was great!

The cabin was just as advertised. The views were even grander than the photos showed. The place was clean, quiet, and secluded. It had everything we needed for a nice stay. We would love to return some day!
