"This was the break we needed - the space was roomy, comfortable and very clean; the property was peaceful and we enjoyed walking down to the lake and a little paddle on the kayaks. Self check-in was a plus because we weren't sure of our timing. Also, it's a small thing, but I appreciated the Roku set-up that automatically logged us out of our streaming services on check out. Truly a great stay!"

"The pictures on here do not do this property justice! Its so beautiful and peaceful. The cabin is well cared for and the landscaping is well maintained. A lot of love and care go into this place. It is by far one of my favorite places I have drayed for peace and relaxation. The beds were so comfortable and everything we needed was there. Short drive to historic Madison. Walking the property was wonderful but my favorite place was the front porch watching the birds. Cannot wait to come back again. The hosts were amazing!"

"We had a great time with our family. There was something for everyone! Hiking, fishing, swimming, games. The property is very well maintained. The only thing I can offer as feedback for improvement, and Im not even sure if anything can be done, is the water pressure is low and the the water had a metallic smell to it. We had bottled water we planned to drink anyways. It could just be thats just normal for the rural area. Is was not big enough of a deal to deter us from coming back. We're already planning our trip to come back next year."
"My husband and I were in the area to visit the Creation Museum and the Ark Encounter. We chose this place to stay because it looked peaceful and quiet. We found that both of these were true! We sat on the porch and enjoyed God's creation surrounding us. We saw a bluebird, deer, and rabbits peacefully feeding in the yard. The home has a large open floor plan, which made us feel we could relax, plus the decor honored God and was nicely done. It was very clean and had everything one could need for a pleasant stay. We would certainly return to this place if we are in the area again."
