"The room was quite basic but had everything we needed! It was a great place to stay. It’s right next to the bus stop which was perfect and there is a great ramen restaurant in the building as well as a delicious Okonomiyaki restaurant across the street! "

"Amazing artistic surroundings, the public spaces are decorated beautifully, it was lovely to spend time enjoying them. The massage was superb too as well as the daily Japanese breakfasts. We stayed 6 nights and it was so nice to come back to the hotel every night to relax after being out on the islands to see the art."

"The ryokan was a very special experience. A beautiful place to stay in historic Kurashiki. It was a treat to be in such a uniquely Japanese space with the tatami floor, the futon and the special bath. Lovely staff too. "

"This hotel-resort is well loved by young Japanese families.
For a tourist passing through Uno area it is 20 minutes from Uno by bus or taxi. The hotel sits alone in this area with a beautiful beach.
Staff is very helpful

"Everything was great!! It was a bit confusing that there are 2 Domy Inn in the city. We went to the wrong one first. Then when we were checking in at the correct one, a couple was told they were in the wrong hotel. Maybe they need to think about naming a bit different…"
"Hotel location is excellent right across from train station steps from the train station , breakfast buffet it’s good omelet coffee and small Asian food not a lot of western foods though.
We stayed at a Japanese style room it was extreme spacious with a living room and table and all don’t know the regular rooms size.
Around the area have excellent dining options and shopping and it’s right by the bay very nice view. "
"The staff were really kind and professional, providing excellent service and help, but the actual facilities were not great. There is no on site laundry (there is a service only on Monday to Friday), the AC is centrally controlled with the only alternative being off, and the actual room was not very clean. The bathroom was full of someone's hair across the tub and curtain, with some mould spots around the place (around the sink rim and under the handle in the tub). Just a few straight forward improvements would make this a lot better!"
"Perfect hotel for 3 nights. Right next to train station with easy access and lots of available restaurants and shopping. Room was surprisingly spacious. Staff was excellent. "
"The in-house laundry facility is convenient. The room looks outdated: the steps into the bathroom can be risky for older people. The bathtub is too deep and has no grab bars. The staff can be quite unhelpful. We asked for a room change to a room with a shower outside of the tub. We were charged extra ¥ 12,000 plus for the new room. The explanation given was because the new room was designated as a smoking room and we had asked for a non smoking. I was not convinced. I would not use this hotel again. "
"The hotel is located on a hillside not far from Miyaura Port. In the morning, rooms with balconies offer beautiful views and sunrises. Walking to the port doesn’t take long, and along the way you can see the red pumpkin and white birdcage illuminated by lights, creating a unique atmosphere in the evening.
Our stay was truly heartwarming, and we wish to extend our deepest gratitude to Shimasaki-san, she went above and beyond to assist us, and her warmth and kindness left a lasting impression.
We sincerely hope this kind-hearted lady, who treasures art museums yet is even more devoted to her work in hospitality, finds great success in the future."
