"The hotel is right on the main street around the corner from food and drinks (Starbucks if you need it), convenient walking to the trails and docks for the ferries. The staff was helpful and used Google Translate to communicate details in English. (The manager speaks English if you need it.) Breakfast is included and the dining area is small, so you have to pick a time slot. The food is a mix of American friendly and Taiwanese classic dishes so even if small it's a nice spread. I had a balcony view that was nice for the unexpected fireworks I saw on the last night, but the weather was too hazy for a good sunrise, but still pretty. The shower and bathroom could feel a snug fit, if you're a tall and heavier American like me. Good water pressure, but minimum of shower toiletries (only shampoo and body wash). The hotel was supposedly renovated in 2022, but there was some cracks in the bathroom wall and ceiling near the AC, wallpaper peeling. Also a black spots by the AC that could have been water damage."
