"An old building hence furniture looks dated but it has its charm within walking distance to Nagano station (15 mins) and a Main Street of food options.
Toilet ceiling was very short though."
"This hotel is beautifully kept! The room we stayed in with a 13 and 10 year old was plenty large and everyone slept wonderfully! The location is perfect for exploring so much on foot! We walked all over town! Very comfortable beds! The bathroom was stocked with anything you could need and coffee tea provided was wonderful! Would love to come back!"
"Whilst the property was beautiful, and the onsen was immaculately clean, I felt that the resort could have done a lot more to create a more welcoming environment with more varied dining and drinking options. There was one restaurant and there were no afternoon tea or beverages served in the otherwise lovely lobby space. It felt very bare and slightly unwelcoming. The staff, whilst some were friendly, were for the most part quite cold and did not go the extra mile to provide for a warm and hospitable stay!"
"The room was extremely clean and quiet, comfortable to get a good night's sleep in. The front desk staff were of course friendly, helpful, and professional. The hotel also provides nice amenities, including pastries and coffee, and even a free nihonshu ("sake") tasting."
"Very attentive staff. Easy check in. Close to station. Very good buffet breakfast. Reasonable room rates. Comfortable room. Everything you need really."
"This resort went way above and beyond our expectations. The staff was very friendly and helpful, making us feel very comfortable when explaining how things worked. The buffet, lounge, and free drinks and snacks were wonderful. And the facilities are very clean and very well maintained. The different onsens all have different characteristics and they're all very charming and relaxing 😊 Definitely would recommend to anyone looking for a luxurious relaxing stay!"
"Easiest walk to the Nagano train station
Extremely clean property
check in and check out is fully vending machine style
Breakfast spread is decent and the donut n cupcake in the evening is a welcome move"
"Just 5 min walk to the outlet. Shuttle bus available to both the train station as well as the outlet. On-site onsen is exceptionally clean n spacious.
However should let early arrival guests register their personal details n when they return at 3pm to check in, the process will be smoother. That way, it will not create chaos in the lobby area."
