This Hotel NEEDS updating/cleaning. The set-up is odd with the Front Desk only being accessible from outside, in a separate building. The Guest Rooms are accessible in a building to the South. When entering the Guest Rooms Building, you need your Key Card (which is fine). The first area you enter is not welcoming and the signage is poor. This area is a narrow hall and cluttered with luggage carts. On the West side of the hallway are the Elevators and to the East side is the indoor Pool Area. The Pool areas (both indoor and outdoor) are underwhelming. The pool/hot tub/lazy rivers feel like they are on top of each other. It is not spacious and it isn’t relaxing. There was no place onsite to enjoy a beverage or a snack…unless you count vending machines.
Upon exiting the elevator on the 15th Floor, one is immediately assaulted with a heavy sewage smell. It smells like toilets have been overflowing with stool for a long time. Both the elevators and hallways are filthy. It appeared No one cleaned the floors in these areas during our stay.
The bed was very hard, the bedding fit poorly, as if someone was playing a trick and short sheeting the bad. The towels were fine.
The room was small. There are No luggage racks or anywhere to place suitcases, except the bed. There was an old closet which the doors had been removed from. Instead of removing the hardware and the trim it was painted over and the carpet was cut out. There are Light switches to nowhere. Think Motel 6 with a pool area.
