"The house and property were extraordinary. Bird watching was a personal favourite on our group trip - the blue jays by the house were a joy to sit and watch. The property offers everything you could ask for and more. I spent a lot of time cooking in the kitchen and loved the nooks that let us hold conversations with ease across rooms to stay involved with everyone.I highly, highly recommend staying here. Beautiful property, incredibly nice and helpful hosts, bird watching, and so much more!"

"The listing says you will have the entire home. Description later down it calls it an apartment. The heading should say Basement Apartment NOT Entire home. I requested a refund or even partial but the host refused."

"Clean rooms, some loose construction materials and broken accessories ie the towel holder for the bathroom was broken and the bar and the hardware was on the window sill in the leaving room. Loose screws ontop of the fridge. And more construction materials in the cabinets Cleaning supplies where sufficient but was missing a dust pan."

It is in a quiet location a few kilometers outside the main street of Barrie. The 5 bedrooms and bathrooms were essential for our group attending a wedding in Barrie. We would definitely rent this house again if we need to attend a function in the Barrie area."
