"!!NO AC / NO AIR CONDITIONING / NO AIRE ACONDICIONADO!!I am giving this house 2 stars mainly because there is no AC. Unfortunately, this became one of the worst vacation experiences we’ve had due to the extreme heat inside the home.We followed all of the host’s instructions by keeping blackout curtains closed during the day and opening windows at night, but the house still became unbearably hot. At night it felt close to 98 degrees inside, making it nearly impossible to sleep even with ceiling fans, multiple floor fans, and windows open. It was over 100 degrees outside during the day, and the house never cooled down.The heat became a serious health concern. My cousin ended up in the ER due to dehydration, and we worried constantly about our kids. Even the “cold” shower water came out warm.There should absolutely be a clear warning or disclaimer for guests booking in summer that the property has no AC and can become dangerously hot.We also experienced ants inside the home and saw a few roaches indoors. The host did respond quickly and sent someone to spray, which helped. There was also a toilet issue that maintenance fixed the next day.Aside from the heat, the house itself was beautiful with great views, games, TVs, a pool table, and plenty of entertainment. The host was responsive and refunded us for one night, which we appreciated.I normally do not leave negative reviews, but future guests deserve to know about the lack of AC and heat risks before booking."
