"The hotel is very conveniently located if you are spending time in Terlingua and Big Bend. There is plenty of parking and it is next to the gas station. The breakfast buffet is at the gas station and you get $2 off, but it is still around $13. It looked like it was pretty good, but I just wanted something small to eat. The lobby of the hotel has a small store and the back part has games, a pool table and an ice machine. I don't think you can ice between 8 pm and 8 am, which is slightly inconvenient. The room was very clean and smelled like a bleach solution when we got there, unfortunately you are not allowed to check in before 4:00 and after driving a long way that extra hour is a long time. We had to take a nap in our car while we waited for our room to be ready. The mattresses are VERY FIRM. The bathroom is my only real complaint. The toilet was a very slow flusher and made me nervous and the shower was not pleasant at all. We had a choice between HOT water, or COLD water and it either drizzled out of the shower head with no pressure, OR if you tried to adjust it, it sprayed out through these two weird holes in the top of the shower head and straight into the wall, with a force that could have removed the paint from a building. I've never seen a shower head like that and hope to never see another one. I can't imagine what those top holes were actually for. Overall, it was a good stay, better than a tent, but a lot more expensive."
"Contract with property was excellent. Location was spot on… close to park and stores/restaurants in Terlingua. Kitchen stocked with coffee, fridge, AC, and large shower with plenty of hot water. Would recommend for park visitors."
"Very clean and quiet area. We had a fantastic trip and would definitely stay again. Only thing that surprised us was that the casita is split in two separate buildings- kitchen and living area are one then there is a covered patio that sits between that area and the other building which has the bedroom and bathroom. So if you are traveling with more than two people, in our case we had our 13 yr old granddaughter with us, their sleep area is in the living area and so she was completely alone( which she was thrilled about) and the walls are thick enough to where you won’t hear anything outside. The star gazing is fabulous from the property!"
"Room utilities were all functioning very well, with great internet for the area. Room could have been cleaner, several areas needed a clean-up, bed linen was full of hair. All in all great location, easy checking, but not as clean as expected for something in this price range."

10/10 Excellent
"Our stay was excellent at the cabin! It was clean and comfortable, and the host stayed in contact to make sure everything was going well. The check in process was easy. The cabin was convenient to Big Bend, and the night sky views were absolutely beautiful. We hope to be back soon!"
