"A magical place with wonderful staff, beautifully-designed rooms, and great food. A true oasis in today's hectic world. The pictures do not do justice to the place; it was behind my expectations. "
"Five Volcanoes went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. The staff is super friendly, and the food was fantastic. I couldn’t recommend it higher to anyone in the area to experience the amazing natural sites in the area. "
"Amazing service, charming rooms, fantastic food. I went there after a gorilla trek and before hiking up Bisoke and they were fantastic. They helped arrange transport as well. Will absolutely be staying here again if I'm back in Musanze."
"Staying at My Hill Eco Lodge is truly an unforgettable experience. The lodge is set in a beautiful and unique location, surrounded by breathtaking nature and endless views that make you feel like you’re in heaven. Every sunrise and sunset paints the sky with colors that you can enjoy right from your room or the open terrace.
The staff are exceptionally friendly and welcoming, always ready with a smile and genuine care that makes you feel at home. The food is delicious and fresh, with a breakfast that is simply outstanding one of the best ways to start your day in Rwanda.
What makes this lodge so special is the privacy and tranquility it offers. The rooms are not only spotlessly clean but also beautifully decorated with thoughtful details, combining comfort and elegance in a way that rivals any luxury hotel.
Honestly, My Hill Eco Lodge feels like a hidden gem the best hotel in Africa, offering the real charm and features of a true 5-star experience, while still staying connected to nature and local culture. If you are looking for peace, beauty, and authenticity, this is the perfect place."
"I loved this place so much. Staff especially is just so kind and amazing! Everyone who works there deserves a raise. Beautiful hotel, clean and massive rooms, and Pacific helped me arrange transportation which was super helpful. Definitely staying here again if I ever visit. Thank you! "
"This hotel is the best place to stay in Kinigi/to gorilla trek! It’s the closest lodge to the Dian Fossey campus and women’s village, and the staff is exceptional. They are very friendly and helpful and went above and beyond. We loved that we’d come back to the hotel and they’d clean our shoes and give us a foot massage. They’d also get a fire going in your room while you are having dinner. We’d come back to bed with a heated bed (thanks to a warm water bottle they place in there) and a fire going. We felt we were in the coziest hotel room ever. The food was great too with an ever changing menu. I’d recommend getting the full board. It’d be hard to try restaurants at different lodges, so you’d save money instead of buying the meals separate. Last but not least, the super sweet dog Sparky. He added so much charm and welcomed all guests. We loved having him around so much. "
"This was one of the most incredible experiences I have ever had. The staff was unmatched, so friendly and kind. The food was delicious and so well curated. I CANNOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE MORE! Completely stunning both the place and the people!"
