"Truly an amazing, secluded retreat in the hills in Tuscany. Make sure you have a car with some ground clearance, the last mile up the hill is an attraction on its own. The host Barbara is amazing, as well as her family's horse farm and the cook (can be hired for an private dinner), who also started a vineyard visible from the house.The building is old (12th century), but well furnished, has a great pool, great kitchen and of course great views! Vicchio is about 20 min (including the downhill) and has a train station with a train to florence (1hr for 6 euro) as well as a super market. Basically all the ingredients for an awesome holiday.We had an amazing time."
