"Breakfast options were more extensive, and tastier, than the usual "continental" options. Food at the restaurant was very good. Staff was very helpful and friendly."

"Hideaway Inn it a delightful spot. Check in was easy, the rooms are clean and spacious with your own record player! And a large selection of vinyl in the livingroom. The game rooms are great for family time. There is a restaurant, Irish pub style food that is in the same parking lot. This is our second time staying here and will definitely stay next time we are in the area."

"Super clean and up-to-date rooms. Friendly host/owner at check-in. Room was a bit smaller than a standard hotel room so finding space was a little tricky because we are over-packers but not a huge issue. The only major downside was that the sound insulation between rooms is poor and by chance our the folks next door were running their TV nearly all day and night. We could hear it through the adjoining door which was annoying. Had to sleep with ear plugs. Might not be an issue if the room you are in doesn't have an adjoining door to the neighboring room. Regardless, I would stay here again as not everyone is watching TV round the clock and the room was super clean and cute."

Enfield Shaker Museum

"The Enfield Shaker Museum is a very unusual hotel but quite a good experience nonetheless. The rooms are large, clean and comfortable (possibly quite hot in summer as there didn't appear to be any a/c), but there are no staff on hand and none of the 'normal' hotel experiences and extras. They do self-serve tea and coffee in the morning and that's about it. After 5pm the place is yours (with the other guests). For a Dartmouth parent hunting accommodation on a busy weekend it is a very good value option and just 20 mins away. And the lake is beautiful. Beds are comfy - but no curtains."
