We had selected this property on the basis of its having two bathrooms, one of which was on the same floor as the bedroom. As the pictures show, the other bathroom was downstairs which would have meant navigating an open spiral staircase in the middle of the night. On the day before our arrival, we received a message from the owner saying that one of the upstairs rooms (the bathroom)...

"Wir haben im Juli 2024 für vier Tage das Haus gemietet. Bereits vor unserem Eintreffen gab es Probleme mit der Vermieterin. Eigentlich war die Uhrzeit unseres Check-Ins 16Uhr, doch da die Vermieterin arbeiten musste, hätten wir erst um 18Uhr eintreffen können. "Le dialogue avec la personne qui gère est compliqué car elle ne répond jamais. Pour récupérer les clefs c est le parcours du combattant. L alarme qui s enclenche alors que nous n avons rien pour l arrêter. "Highly recommended for family stays. It is very conveniently located next to the train station, and both bus and tram stops are right at the doorstep. As a flat, it was unconventionally spacious. Plenty of storage space. Large bathroom with a bathtub, and kitchen with ammenities to do our own cooking. There was a senior lady on the Reception when we arrived. She was not friendly at all, and made us feel unwelcome. However, the other 2 people (2 younger males) who were there for the remainder of our stay were super kind and helpful. Very conveniently located hotel for shopping and for walks to the main tourist spots. We'd always go back if travelling in or around Montpellier."
