"The room was large with a large spacious bathroom. The room was on the ground floor and overlooking the street which made you feel looked in to. Some sort of blind or lace curtain would give a bit more privacy. The option for underground parking was great. It had everything we needed and was very warm. There was building work going on on the building next door however we did not hear anything and it did not disturb us at all."

"Clean spacious room, great parking. Helpful staff"

"It was good to be able to take our little dog.everything was clean and handy to the beach. Cooler nights would be nice to have electric blanket. Biggest bonus was the waffles. They were yummy "

"A wonderful stay. We had a 2 bed apartment, with views along the drive to the bay. Everything was extremely clean, a well equipped kitchen, and very good aircon in the lounge. We also had a garage allocated. Location is excellent, with the bay across the road from the hotel, a two minute stroll to the Pacific, and several cafes just around the corner. About 10 minutes walk to the main shopping/dining area with plenty of restaurants if you want to eat out. The only minor disappointment was the...

"Tidy, lovely property, helpful host. Unfortunately short stay so unable to make the most of all that was on offer "

"We had a fantastic visit to Brightside Farmstay. The facility was incredibly well maintained, and the highlight was meeting Peter and going on a tour with him to see all of his farm animals. Our boys were thrilled. This is one of the best bnb's that we have been to. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable."

The listing also does not include any photos of the outdoor area, and after seeing it in person, we could understand why. The outdoor furniture and barbecue were in terrible condition and did not feel clean or usable. The carpet in the lounge and dining area was badly stained and desperately needs a deep clean, although it may be at the point where...

"Our hosts were very welcoming. The apartment was very neat, tidy and very comfortable! The area was very quiet but easy enough to get around the city and close to lovely walks. "

"Everything was spotless and modern with excellent amenities. Great communication. We really enjoyed it. Highly recommend "
