"A beautiful pension type stay in the middle of Cochem close to the castle. The hosts offer a great variety of services and help and are very friendly and knowledgeable. Be sure to try Apfel Strudel on the patio with a glass of wine or the house Schnaps!"

"Check in is self check in. An employee helped to take care of that. Hotel is clean and comfortable. It is in a strip of other hotels, cafes, and stores. It does overlook the Mosel river which is very nice. Everything is easily walkable and beautiful!"

Exzellente Ausstattung, es gab einen kleinen Fitnessraum mit spinning bike und Laufband von Peloton sowie einem Rudergerät und diverse Gewichte für Krafttraining. Der Wellnessbereich mit Pooö und Saunen hat ebenfalls sehr überzeugt!"

"A pleasant hotel with free parking. Slightly let down by lack of a proper bar (although some drinks are available after hours) and a torn curtain in the room. The bed and bathroom were great though, and there’s an hourly bus service if you don’t fancy walking back from the town centre. Overall a good choice for Cochem and the surrounding area."

"We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Stumbergers in Cochem. The rooms were comfortable, the breakfast was fresh and plentiful, and the service was excellent throughout our visit. Spacious toilet with an amazing shower. The view from the terrace is special overlooking the Moselle river. This area in Germany is a hidden gem. The town itself the hotel is in is beautiful and so is Cochem. Would definitely come again and stay in the same hotel"

"We booked this hotel for one night to enjoy a wine festival in Zell and visit some of the local wineries. Staff was extremely friendly, room was very spacious. View was incredible right on the river. Free and available parking right out front, very good continental breakfast and it was 15 minutes walk from the heart of town. We definitely will be staying here on our next visit to the region."

"A charming place. The historic exterior belies homely rooms, though the inside is a bit of a warren. The Town is lovely. Everyone who works there is warm and welcoming. Can only recommend a visit to here and to Bullay, which is a good base for the Moselle."
