The house is a 5 star home only because that’s as high as the VRBO scale goes. Otherwise it is definitely a 10. Everything about the house and our stay was perfect. Treat yourself to a totally remodeled rural home that has a warm feeling the second you drive up. Thanks to the family that owns the home for sharing their family history as well. We will be back.
We came to the area to ride Kansas Rocks trail park. This house is quiet and well kept. The only thing we missed were the springs for the bed in the room with the tv! All in all its a great little place!
if you want to be in a quite, clean, relaxed area;this is your spot!! bedrooms are large with comfortable bed. there are 5 recliners, plus a sofa. will definitely be staying again!
I booked this for my dad and his buddies when they went to the races. They loved the quiet location and everything was perfect for them. It was easy to find and get into the house, not a lot of hassle or over communication. The host was very pleasant and no contact was needed as everything was perfect. Thank you so much, maybe I can go with next time!
Who would have thought a trip to Perry's Pork Rinds and Country Store
in Bronson, Kansas would lead to finding this treasure. BACON 4 RANCH is immaculately clean, very homey and well equipped with everything we needed including a heating pad for a great faily gathering. Had 1 minor power issue because of weather and an owner was there in 20 minutes and resolved it. Very comfortable, lots of comfortable seating, well equipped kitchen, private, beautiful surroundings with outside covered patio and good roads making a country stay easy to get too. Wish all accommodations were this nice and comfortable. We have found our sister hideaway and are already planning a return trip. Who knew that our retreat from the city life was just 90 minutes away.
Thank you to the Bacon family for sharing your ranch home with us while we visited my brother who lives in Kansas. Your home was superbly clean and lovely. Every detail was well thought out. The kitchen well stocked, quality linens provided, the key code lock, easy communication, and we thoroughly enjoyed reading about the ranch history. We brought my 78 year old mother to Kansas to visit her son and your home was so comfortable for her. She just revealed in every detail. It was ideal for having my brother and his lady over for dinner, sitting on the porch listening to the cicadas and watching the sunset. We had a lovely time!! Thank you again.
This was our second stay and it won't be the last. Perfect setting and the house is like I just walked into my mom and dad's house back in my younger days; clean, well appointed and welcoming. Thanks Cindy for helping us have another stay at your home and we hope to see you again sooner than later.
This was the most enjoyable, relaxing stay I have ever experienced while traveling! The amenities provided were exceptional and the tranquility of location couldn't be better! There is absolutely nothing negative a person could say about this beautiful home. Thank you Cindy for sharing your your gracious home!
We had a family function just down the road from this cute little farmhouse so the location was perfect for us! Very quiet, well maintained and everything you would need! Owner was fantastic to work with!
Absolutely wonderful place to stay…felt like you were going home to visit family. Hosts were great and the house was perfect for our hunting get away! Highly recommend!!!
This is a great property!! The host is amazing and will respond quickly and do anything to help with your trip and experience. 10/10 recommend, I accidentally left a whole weeks worth of dirty clothes and she had no problem shipping them too NC for me!
As sisters we love to gather and get away together. This is the perfect place. The property is immaculate, it's private and easy to get to. We will be returning.
While we could say the home was clean, the hosts wonderful, and the home was comforable and well taken care of, what stuck out the most was the history of this home. The host took the time in a book to tell us the history of this farm home and the people who lovingly called this their home. That was special to this home. Looking around it was easy to see what this home meant to the family. And to share that home and its memories with the strangers who pass through to stay. That was something unique and special. I encourage anyone who comes to the area to stay. You’ll love that it’s clean, cozy, well kept and comfortable. But you’ll also get a glimpse and a special piece of someone’s history at the farm. And that is probably the most special piece.
