The shower room was very clean and the shower was nice hot and powerful. We paid extra for the breakfast. The coffee was very good and the selection of breads, pastries, yogurts, cereals, juice, boiled eggs, cheese, fresh fruit, dried fruits and butter, jams etc was great. Location was perfect for us travelling further into France. We could...

HÔTEL DU SAUMON

8/10 Good

"Older hôtel with decent amenities. Had to climb to the very high bath tub. Would recommend a bath mat as it is slippery"

Castle nested in the forest of "Le Perche" region - lower Normandy

10/10 Excellent

"Absolutely amazing stay. The whole family were in awe of the castle, location and space. Excellent communication throughout. Jerome was fantastic and nothing was too much trouble. If we could have stayed longer, we would have...but we will definitely be returning in the future."

Norman house with pool in the countryside

10/10 Excellent

"We are just back from a week’s stay at this property. We had good communication with Cesar prior to our trip with prompt messages. We were met on arrival by the lovely housekeeper Martine. She is so nice but due to the language barrier we felt a welcome pack in English/different languages would have been beneficial, listing bin days etc. The property is stunning set in a private gated woodland. It was well equipped, well maintained and my boys particularly enjoyed the pool table. Very clean and tidy with everything we needed and we couldn’t fault it.We made use of the outdoor BBQ and were in the pool most afternoons. The pool isn’t heated, but as we were there in a heatwave we didn’t have a problem with temperature. The shallow end isn’t that shallow, and my tall 6 year old could not reach the floor. Although the pool is gorgeous and we all loved it! The property is a 5 minute drive to the nearest town which has a beautiful cathedral, patisserie, shops and cafe’s.We visited Evereux whilst we were there which is a city with plenty to do! Beautiful place with lots to see. Overall we had a fantastic stay at this property, a great holiday and we would not hesitate to recommend. Thank you to Cesar and Martine. Hannah, Chris and Boys x"

House 15 people in the Perche with swimming pool, pool table, jacuzzi, petanque

"J'ai réservé le domaine pour fêter mon anniversaire. Tous c'est bien passé. La communication avec les propriétaires du domaines étais simple et fluide, ils étaient toujours disponible. Un grand Merci pour ce séjour ."
