Village house, ideally located between Avignon, Arles, Nîmes and Uzès, 10 minutes from the river at the Pont du Gard or in the Gorges du Gardons.<br>In a twelfth century Templar Commandery, classified as a Historic Monument, I offer you my house of 130m2 that can accommodate up to 8 people with its 2 beautiful private terraces and the 4x2m swimming pool.<br><br>The pretty village of Montfrin is ideally located: 15 minutes from Avignon, 20 minutes from Nîmes, Uzès and Arles, 10 minutes from the Pont du Gard and 50 minutes from the Camargue and the beaches of Saintes-Maries de la Mer. <br>Many magnificent swimming spots and canoeing in the Gardon 10 minutes by car. The village benefits from many shops, walking distance from the house: Cafés, pharmacy, tobacconist, bakery, pizzeria, weekly market on Tuesday mornings and a supermarket (petrol pump). <br><br>Guests can park a car free of charge on site, directly in the courtyard of the Commanderie. <br><br>The house:<br>After climbing the magnificent period spiral staircase, you will find the landing that leads to our house. <br>-on the first level:<br>the exteriors (a large terrace of 100m2 with a 4x2m swimming pool and a small terrace of 30m2), <br>the living rooms (living room, dining room, kitchen)<br>the two double bedrooms, a bathroom (with bath, washing machine and dryer), and a separate toilet.<br>- on the second level (staircase from the living room):<br>Two bedrooms each with 2 single beds<br>a shower room (with WC)<br><br>Caution:<br>-We live in one of the sunniest regions but also one of the hottest! Especially in summer, the thermometer easily rises above 30•C. <br>However, we were able to install air conditioning upstairs, for the two hottest bedrooms on the 2nd level in summer, but also a second air conditioning on the first level, in the living room, to cool the 1st level. Each bedroom also has fans and the stone walls of the house are thick and keep the house rather cool. <br>A large ceiling fan has also been installed in the living room for those who don't like air conditioning.<br><br>-The house is on 3 levels, so there are stairs. The bedrooms on the second level are not suitable for children under 4 years old.<br><br>-Arrivals possible on Sunday but mandatory departure on Friday or Saturday.<br><br>I rent my house while we go on vacation. So I won't be able to welcome you personally. But I will be reachable by phone and a friend living in the village will be there to welcome you and meet your needs in case of any problems in the house.
