"Lovely 2-bedroom, 1-bath apartment with a beautiful view. The host was great about answering any questions. We loved the old stove that was in the kitchen - non-functioning, but it added a nice touch. The living/family room was large and spacious with comfortable seating. There are stairs to climb and quite a few of them. If you or someone in your party has mobility issues, this would not be a good fit. We loved our stay here and would rent it again."

"My stay here in Monterosso was lovely. Please be warned, there are about 100 stairs or so straight up, leading to the room. I wouldn’t recommend if you are not able to climb a lot of stairs. But the location was perfect, a little off the beaten path, so super quiet and serene. Except there are times when you can hear the people above you from the bedroom walking or pushing in/out chairs. "Now quite as majestic as it appears. The beds were old and terrible. The apartment and the entire building needs significant maintenance. The apartment needs a deep clean. There was hair on the sheets which always starts things badly. Be aware there isn’t any air con and that the shutters don’t function correctly (disrepair) so some bang if they are open because the tie backs are gone. The apartment is in a good location next to the beach but it is loud in the area in front of the soccer field....

"We couldn't change settings on air conditioning, but we never asked for help, either. We got very cold...but ultimately that is our fault. We should have gotten help..or blankets. The staff were very friendly and helpful at front desk. Our dinner was spectacular!!! I would definitely stay here again!. Our view from our room was beautiful. The pool and hottub bar area was soo beautiful. Thank you, Porto Roco for an amazing stay! I also loved having a shuttle ."
