This was a last minute trip to Monterey/Carmel simply to get away & Arbor Inn have always been great for an affordable getaway! The couple that manages the hotel are always friendly, professional & accommodating. Rooms are always clean, smells good, spacious, comfy beds & shower hot water & pressure a huge plus! If only a microwave was available & a slightly larger TV would have given it a 5 stars rating but Not a deal breaker. Thanks again for a wonderful stay!

Room was clean as was the property. It was very quiet. The ac/heater was quit, bathroom fan was quiet and I did not here any other people once I closed the windows. Bed was acceptable. My room did not have a TV remote and the TV its self was stuck on input so it was useless. By the time I realized it was 11pm so I didn't bother calling the office. Would stay there again.

Easy check in and check out processes with friendly staff. Clean room, comfortable bed, good A/C wall unit. Fridge and microwave in room as well as coffee maker. Large refillable containers of shampoo, shower gel, hand soap, and lotion in shower/sink area. Free parking much appreciated, 1 mile easy walk downhill to Old Fisherman's Wharf on a mix of narrow and wide sidewalks requiring crossing lights, may not be as easy if using mobility aids or a stroller. King room with fireplace had a table and two chairs so that we didn't always just have to sit on the bed. Small but serviceable closet, several drawers in room. No security safe, no breakfast. Some street noise on Munras but quieter units closer to Cass street. Easy on and off from highway. Value priced for area.

Arbor Inn Monterey was a nice little hotel outside of Monterey Bay. Quite, close to restaurants, convenient, comfortable. I would recommend this hotel to anyone interested in visiting the area and not paying an arm and a leg for their room elsewhere. The lady at the counter was very nice and the place was just clean. I liked it and would stay there again. Thanks Arbor Inn Monterey.
