"Podere Pietreta è un luogo magico, comodo da raggiungere, ma immerso in un paesaggio della campagna tipicamente toscana, che non ci si stanca mai di contemplare. Appartamento estremamente accogliente ed arredato con gusto in linea con la bellezza del podere, ottima pulizia ed accoglienza. " In the middle of literally nowhere (for me) but so peaceful and serene! I love the history of this monastery. I must say as a solo traveler I was a little nervous at first because it’s very remote. I saw maybe 3 cars in the parking lot and two other guests. But it was safe! Checked in and got a restaurant recommendation for Ristorante Conte Matto, ten minutes away in a small town. The food was excellent and my server was very friendly, even walked me out when I left. Definitely worth the visit. I had the room at the end of the building with the ginormous tub. It was clean, very spacious and simply furnished with a very comfortable bed and pillows. Not gonna lie, I did push my couch up against the door since I was alone but I went to sleep that night and had the most peaceful sleep, waking up to the most beautiful sunrise. "
