Auf dem Monte Tamaro (1960 m.ü.M.) im Schweizer Kanton Tessin. Vom Monte Tamaro hat man einen phantastischen Ausblick auf einen großen Teil des Mittleren und Südlichen Tessin. Zu sehen sind vom Gipfel aus der Lago Maggiore, der Luganer See, der Alpenhauptkamm mit dem imposanten Monte Rosa (4633 m.ü.M.) und dem Matterhorn. Nach Süden geht der Blick weit hinein nach Italien.
