4/5 - Good
Nice town, part farming community, with a variety of attractions.

It is a shame that Monte Vista no longer has their hospital. My wife and I worked there when they had a hospital while we went to Adams State University. We lived in an apartment just west across the street from Monte Villa Hotel at the time.
Cute farming town with mountain views.
A little over an hour from Sand Dunes National Park.
We stayed here so that we could visit the Great Sand Dunes National Park. It was a little out of the way and we could have stayed in Alamosa. This hotel did have a bit more room for our family.
beautiful place and early in mornings with sunrise was breathtaking
