"Lovely hill top setting in this restored castle village. The apartment is very pretty, and we enjoyed the pool and a soothing spa treatment. The kitchen is small but has what you need. We cooked several times, and dined out several time. L'Abbazia restaurant was a wonderful dining experience. (Loc. Castel San Felice Sant'Anatolia di Narco), The staff at the hotel property are very friendly and helpful, and answered many questions for us. Easy travel to Spoleto for some sightseeing too."

"We had a wonderful week in Cessapalombo. Tiziana and Nando were very hospitable, and even laid on a delicious lunch of local specialties for our last day. The accommodation is simple, but has everything you need, and the location of the house is stunning. If you want to get away from it all, we cannot recommend this place highly enough. In the day, butterflies dance and lizards dart around the lovely pool, and by night we were serenaded by crickets and the local peregrine falcons. The Monti...

Hotel Umbra

10/10 Excellent

"Wonderful, amazing staff , good breakfast, churches are nearby excellent,"

Hotel Monastero Sant'Andrea

10/10 Excellent

"Absolutely loved this place. The location was excellent, the room was comfortable, the staff was nice and the balcony at sunset was amazing. Made for a memorable evening. Only complaint is how hard it is to find the hotel when walking around town. It took my husband and I over an hour to find it! We kept walking past the entrance and didn't know. Finally had to call and ask for specific directions. Once we had that, it was easy to find and then drive to and park the car. I recommend contacting the hotel once you get to town to find out how to exactly find the place."

BV Grand Hotel Assisi

10/10 Excellent

"Lots of larger tour groups with large buses stay at this facility while in town to visit Assisi, so the hotel caters to them in the buffet area downstairs all the other guests of the hotel must sit at unassigned tables in the breakfast buffet area. The buffet has lots of choices and plentiful. The room was good, clean and functioning appropriately. The grounds were nice and green with a nice setting on a hillside overlooking the valley. It was a little hard to communicate with the front desk staff because they didn't know a lot of English, but we survived. Parking garage located on the lower level was not full and convenient. I would recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the area for a couple of days."

hotel minerva assisi

10/10 Excellent

"The location cannot be better, 3 minutes from St. Francis basilica. The hotel is very clean, we stayed 3 nights and had service every day. The staff is extremely helpful and polite. Special thanks to Wilma, who became instantly our friend 🙂 she speaks English fluently and gave us some good hints and help us with arranging taxi to Perugia."
