"Communication! Monique was a perfect host. She was there to greet us and explained a few last details, She made sure we knew about the businesses in the area and what to bring with us to make our stay better. She included a detailed list about fun activities in the region as well. Communication was 5-stars! Cozy!The wood fireplace kept the place toasty warm with just a couple of logs, and there was electric heating in case fireplaces are not your thing. The hot tub was sparkling clean (everything was) and in perfect working order. Instructions were posted and very clear. The TV set-up was easy to use, and the DVD collection is outstanding! Tons of classic movies in case you get a rainy day, or want to relax by the fire at night. Washer and dryer are quiet. The oven is modern and easy to use.We had a wonderful and restful stay! "Pimishka is a great place for lake views & chill stay. Complete kitchen items and there’s a water provided. Though, I thought the place was located more in Old Quebec, but it’s closer to Ottawa. We had our itinerary plan to go to Mont-Tremblant and Montreal for the long weekend, we drove for 3 hours back and forth. I couldn’t cancel anymore the reservation, so we basically just slept in this chalet. I would recommend this place if you plan to just have a relaxing getaway and not going anywhere else. "
