Close to Monarch Mountain, clean and affordable. Restaurant was an added bonus for early mornings, the wait staff was attentive. The food was quick and fresh.

Definitely older lodge, but apparently they are working on updating it. Room was very spacious, but no wi-fi. It was available in restaurant and lobby though. Apparently lodge is working on that too. All in all was comfortable stay

There was no other options for dining or anything other than nature near this hotel. So if you want to eat somewhere other than their dining room, it is 18 miles to Salida, Co. Too far if you are deciding to have a cocktail:(
