"My husband and I were mesmerized by the sound of the ocean, we slept with the patio doors open. We went August 20, 2026 and totally enjoyed our room. We lazily drank coffee in bed while waking up and the went down to have breakfast. We dined outside (the patio heaters were on). Excellent and then we walked to the Monterey Aquarium and enjoyed 20 foot aquarium window, sturgeon. jelly fish, very helpful docents."

"Not enough exposure to the help to make a judgment. I would think they could add more amenities such as toothpaste. A magnified mirror also. Microwave was good, etc."

"Quiet and relaxing location on the hillside above the Pacific Ocean. Working fireplace was great for the cool evenings. Easy drive to Point Lobos Park and Carmel. Nice to be back 12 years later. Looks newly renovated. Fantastic bedroom and bathroom."

"A unique property with exceptional views and natural surroundings. Well kept greenery, and grounds. Though it is a higher-end hotel, they left us without power from early evening into the late morning next day, so no heating (and you need it in the Carmel area even during the summer). The reception-desk staff was not forthcoming addressing our lack of morning coffee and power, so I did not feel really appreciated. Otherwise happy we had a chance to spend a few nights there. Memorable."

"We absolutely loved this property! The room was tastefully decorated and the patio with the view of the lake and golf course was great! It was ideally located to visit Monterey and Carmel but the weather was so much better."
