"I enjoyed my visit. Check in was quick and easy. The front desk clerk was amiable. We chatted a bit, he said he commutes to work from Salem. Our room was quite spacious for 2. The bed was well made, with nice sheets and blankets. We turned on the fireplace to warm up the room, later turned it off. The private porch serves as an extension of the room, a good place to have cocktails (bring along your favorite.) My only criticism: the coffee making apparatus is awkward to use. I managed to make a cup. Set it up just before you make it. I wished I'd brought my own hot pot, and pour-over filter and mug because I truly dislike the waste of hotel room coffee. The dining room serves good dinners. Maybe offer some updates: instead of plain hummus, vary it: addition of hummus with canned stuffed grape leaves and jicama veggies. A baked potato with stuffings. Baked beans and German sausage (meat, veg choice.) Breakfast in the dining room was delicious, old fashioned biscuits, gravy, eggs, etc. The plain yogurt and granola tasted great. I enjoyed looking at the landscaped grounds while sipping coffee. Very nice beginning to the day."

"Was noisy. No hot water in the morning for shower. We didn’t have high expectations because of the price and it met our needs."

"I noticed the outside trash cans were overflowing and the glass doors were dirty with handprints. We were there for 2 nights. The rooms were clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was small but fine. It was quiet."

"Don’t do it. I’m shocked at the positive reviews I read for this property after actually being there. Yes, it's a cheap motel near a freeway, I wasn't expecting the Ritz. This place was horrifying. From the high security check in, to the tiny rooms which smelled like cat pee and cigarette smoke, and the seedy crowd milling around the parking lot, it definitely was not clean or pleasant! I received a list of property "rules" at check in that showed they've had issues with drug and alcohol use and illegal activities at this motel. We ultimately left after looking around both the rooms we were assigned, since we were traveling with children and teen girls, it felt very unsafe."

"Expedia needs to remove the “breakfast buffet” availability at this hotel because it actually no longer provides this. That’s the only thing we wished this hotel has. "

"A quick drive to anywhere you want to go, and a great location for breaking up a long road trip. Helpful staff, loads of amenities, and high quality design. Only drawback was thin walls."
