Visit the ancient ruins of a Roman palace or take a boat ride to St. Mary’s Island to see the Benedictine monastery. The tranquil bay offers opportunities for swimming, snorkeling, and relaxing by the sea, while local restaurants serve fresh seafood and traditional Croatian dishes.
The main places are Pomena, Polače, and Sobra and in those places, you may find supermarkets, ATMs, restaurants, travel agencies, souvenir shops, etc...
Island is regularly connected with Dubrovnik with a ferry from Dubrovnik or Korčula as well as a car ferry connection with Pelješac Peninsula on the Croatian mainland.
