"Everything was terrific "

"Seriously the best location in Hallstatt. One of our windows faced the lake. The other window faced the famous church. What a view! We can see sunrise and market crowd and ferry traffic below us everyday. We can walk to any location conveniently because we are right in the center of town. The room is spacious and quiet. The bed was soft and comfortable. They provided L’Occitane products which were amazing. Quality tea bags with loose tea leaves. Breakfast was quality. Oh we even tried out the sauna which was private and cool! Friendly staff. All in all the best hotel for our honeymoon! "

"Amazing town. The property offers the summer card which was simply amazing for Schladming and the surrounding areas. The card offers great attractions and free bus services around the area and is an absolute game changer! The property itself is a classic nice Austrian style apartment/hotel and is an absolute 10/10. "We had an absolutely wonderful stay here. A chalet with a lot of character. Clean and comfortable. Lovely kitchen. Obertraun is a lovely Alpine village away from the bustle of Hallstatt. Ideal for those looking to stay in a quiet place and engage in outdoor activities like hiking, cycling etc. in the surrounding areas. Very responsive and competent management."

"This hotel is in a very beautiful area. Our room had a beautiful view of the lake and surrounding mountains and the room was beautifully decorated and very spacious. The breakfast buffet was great and included in our stay. There was only one restaurant on site and you pretty much had to get everything from the restaurant such as any snacks, wine, etc. That would be my only knock on the hotel. It would have been nice to have a little market nearby on the property or at least a vending machine. Otherwise, we have no complaints whatsoever. Great place."
