Quick beach trip

We had a quick 3 night stay with our college aged children. Property was a good size for our family; bedrooms were comfortable; availability of the golf cart was a plus.

Graduation trip

We had an amazing time during our stay! The home was in a perfect location in a beautiful resort. It was perfect for our family. This home was very clean and comfy and The third bathroom was definitely needed. My family loved having the golf cart to run back-and-forth to the beach.

Overall review

Overall platinum services did an outstanding job of customer service. While we had two minor issues one with the cable and one with the air conditioner they were very quick to resolve the issues and stayed engaged until they were resolved. However we did have some problems with the owners that were on the properties We stayed at Sandestin Beach and tennis resort in the Pine Ridge neighborhood. I found the owners of other units to be very crabby and intrusive. They would walk around the pool area four or five times a day and correct anything they thought was wrong. After talking to Sandestin management they eventually told us just to ignore them. This is by no means a reflection of the VRBO or platinum services they both did an outstanding job. We will definitely use them again

Great Area near the beach!

Hopefully we can continue to rent this villa every time we visit Destin! Just wish every villa had access to a golf cart being we had reserved 2 Villas to accommodate our family and friends!

Bell Family Vacation

We enjoyed our stay! Any issues we had were resolved quickly and professionally. I would suggest cleaning or replacing the upholstered living room furniture, pest control (for small ant-like bugs), and fixing the water dispenser on the refrigerator door. Otherwise, everything was great! Thank you!

Enjoyed Sundestin resort and golf cart!

The property was spacious, but the carpets need to be replaced or cleaned and some updating. Make sure to bring your own trash bags, laundry detergent, dishwashing detergent, soaps, ziploc baggies, etc. the garage has beach chairs, umbrellas, kids beach toys, floaties for adults. Wish I would’ve known that bc we brought our own. The Sandestin area is amazing and huge. You can drive to Baytown Warfe and dinner and coffee all woth your golf cart. Great time here.

Lots of Potential but Needs Attention

We arrived in town 2 hours early, so stopped by to check things out. The cleaning crew was just finishing up & told us if we wait 5 minutes, we would be able to check in early because they were finished. I called Platinum (property management) & was told we had to wait until 4pm because they were doing extra cleaning for COVID-19. There was no extra cleaning going on after 2pm but they abruptly told me no. We came back 2 hours later. The steps down to the front door are covered in mildew & algae. They desperately needed some bleach & pressure washing. The condo was spacious with a great floor plan, but the furniture and carpet was tired & stained. The place just didn’t feel clean. We sat outside that first evening to enjoy a glass of wine but the cushions wreaked of stale smoke to point that we had to go back inside. The door handle on the king bedroom was falling off the door. There were crumbs in the pullout sofa bed. We could not get any of the TV’s to work. There were 11 different remotes jammed in a drawer. A maintenance guy cane the next morning & got the living room TV working. A property like that should have a smart TV or Roku...very dated. Fridge water dispenser didn’t work. We LOVED the golf cart...no way could you stay there without it because it is a distance from the beach. We enjoyed the ride on the cart to the beach & Baytowne Wharf. I also want to note that when we checked in, there was a COVID-19 sheet on the table explaining all if the extra things Platinum was doing to keep guests safe. It said all cleaning staff wear masks & gloves. None of them were wearing masks and gloves when we arrived. And the crew waiting for us to leave at 10am on departure day wasn’t wearing masks or gloves either. Supposedly maintenance is suppose to be wearing masks & gloves. They are supposed to ask guests to step outside while they work. None of this happened. One last thing that was a negative...we paid for 2 days of umbrella/chair set u with the resort. They let others plant their chairs & umbrellas right in front of those who had paid. There was ZERO attention given to social distancing. The chairs were packed onto the beach 3 feet apart.
