The goal was to get away

We really wanted to get away for a few nights and relax, this spot was perfect. The area is beautiful, the house is great, the bed was comfortable, and it was nice and quiet. Towns are close enough to get some food or supplies and get back to doing nothing, Mineola, Hawkins, and Lindale are great little towns. Nelda was very helpful and nice. We enjoyed our stay.

Found a great place to stay after our Uncle’s funeral.

The whole family loved the peaceful feeling when we drove through the gate, to see the land and the trees and the little farm house. We walked in and again felt a peaceful spirit. The history of the house really excited my wife, daughter and Granddaughter. Yes we would definitely stay again.Thank you for the wonderful feeling we felt when we were there.

We had the best time! The farmhouse is beautiful and well kept! We loved reading the family history and very much enjoyed how quiet and peaceful the area is. My niece particularly enjoyed playing the piano. She spent most of her evenings there instead of browsing on her phone which was a definite plus! Nelda was a wonderful host and always made sure we had everything we needed! I cannot say enough about her hospitality! Thank you so very much!

Very Quiet

Very quiet and peaceful place. A lot of history in that house. Wish I could have meet Nelda to gain some more insight into history of the property. There is a very talkative cat that oversees the homestead, One thing that confused me was the "rules" said "no glass containers" yet all the plates, bowls, and even the coffee cups were glass.
