🏠There is an additional short term rental at the property. Each unit is completely separate and there is no shared living space. The lower level outdoor space is reserved for guests of this rental only.

If you want any additional recommendations of activities, recreation, dining, etc. in the area, we have many local recommendations in our Welcome Book upon your arrival! Summer fun favorites include Wednesday's Live Music downtown at beach and Thursday's Water Ski Shows downtown at the beach.

The Pewaukee Lake House is a non-smoking residence which includes any kind of smoking (vaping, cigars, e-cigarettes, etc.). No smoking is allowed on the property including all outdoor space. House does have a Ring doorbell with camera facing out and outdoor facing cameras over the driveway and backyard.

The fireplaces at the Pewaukee Lake House are not functional.

The home is in a residential neighborhood with neighbors nearby. Please respect everyone, and everything as if it were your own. As such, it is important to note our quiet hours of 10:00pm-8:00am and absolutely no parties are allowed.

The garage is reserved for personal use and will not be available for use during your stay.

We enjoyed our stay. Nicely laid out property although it was on the main drag into Pewaukee which made the house quite noisy. Overall it was a good property

House is as nice as advertised

Home is just as nice as advertised. Very clean and neat and remodeled. Worked great for us with 3 kids under 4yrs old. We were visiting friends who had a nearby lake house. Hosts were very responsive in coordinating our stay.

Comfy and clean

The location was important to us as we were there for my sister’s funeral. We grew up in Pewaukee in the 60’s-70’s and it is not at all like it used to be. The house was nicely decorated and fully equipped with all that one might need.

Great place.

Great clean place. Floors are a bit wobbly in places but it's an old house. A few transitions (may wanna mark them) cause the old folks to trip and stumble. Two bedrooms upstairs. Only bathroom is on first floor. Very well stocked kitchen. Did I say it's clean? super clean and comfy! Awesome stay (I'm nit picking above).

Nice Little Getaway Near Downtown Pewaukee

We needed a nearby place to stay for the weekend as we were listing our home and this fit the bill perfectly. Clean with lots of perks, great communication and allowing us to come early and stay a little later. Nice 10 minute walk to downtown for breakfast or dinner plus the beach. Would definitely recommend. Only small inconvenience was bathroom on main and bedrooms upstairs for late night visits. Would definitely recommend.

Clean and accommodating but restrictive

Very clean property where the owners are within the same structure. Not a problem with noise inside however on the outside patio we were wrongly accused of making too much noise by a neighbor. The adjacent neighbor was having a party but because we are in an open area one could easily mistake us as being the perpetrators. Because of the complaint the owners wanted to enforce the "10AM quite time" to which we ignored. The conversations combined with background music was not audible within 30'. And we are over 60 so its not much of a party anyway. The set up has a nice outside patio with large couches (as seen on pics) providing a space to gather. The lake view is just on the other side of the RR tracks where trains blow their horns- this is infrequent. The entrance to the rental is in the front of the building and the patio is around the back so you either track thru the lawn or over the long narrow driveway to access the patio in the back. There was plenty of sleeping places to accommodate a good group. 2 bedrooms up the stairs (one king, one queen). One BR downstairs with a pullout and a long couch an other bed on a porch. the only bathroom is off the living room. BE forewarned, the hot water is piped backwards on the shower. We had 4 cars and parking on the drive was not prohibitive; it had to be managed to assure the owners could get out of the garage. Overall the place was very clean and nicely updated. The owners were very accommodating..
