A hidden gem nestled in wine country. The home is lovely and nicely updated. The outdoor shower was such a perk and the backyard was great for my dog to chase her ball.

Perfect distance for us to explore Walla Walla and for our kids to drive to the Pendleton Whiskey Music Festival. The house was adorable inside and out. Very clean and we loved the outdoor shower.

The perfect weekend stay!

This house was perfect for our group over Memorial Day weekend! We spent so much time in the backyard, and the fire pit was so cozy when it got a little cooler at night. The beds are comfortable, the water pressure is great, and the kitchen is well-stocked. We'll definitely be back!

Wine Weekend Getaway

We were visiting Walla Walla for an event at a local winery. The location of this VRBO was only minutes from all the South side wineries. The interior of the house has everything you would need for your stay and has a lot of modern updates. We would stay again!

Perfect retreat close to everything

All the amenities and total comfort with 15m of downtown Walla Walla and 5m of the best wineries the area has to offer. The absolute best part of the experience was sitting in the private backyard listening to the birds and reading while the dogs relaxed in the grass. Exactly what we needed.

Wine country wkd

Great spot just outside Walla Walla, and an easy drive to all our favourite wineries (Rotie, for example!!). Bright, clean house with everything you need. The outdoor shower is a must-try!!

Will definitely stay again.

Incredible find. Modern on the Rocks is a must stay if you’re needing lodging in the Walla Walla or Milton-Freewater area. Although small, the well thought out back yard is an oasis in itself. The house has everything you need for your stay and is amazing. We will definitely keep this property on our list of places to stay.

Great get away!

We spent our anniversary weekend in Walla Walla. This was a very convenient, easy to get to, but still very private stay. Very cute space with a fantastic backyard that was well kept, had all the makings for a relaxing evening, and nice and quiet. Host was easy to communicate with and very accommodating. Definitely recommend!

We had a wonderful stay and would absolutely book this property again. The huge fenced backyard was the highlight for us. Our dogs absolutely loved having so much space to run and play. The house was well-appointed, the beds were very comfortable, and the bedroom blinds did a great job of keeping the rooms dark for a good night's sleep. We also really enjoyed the outdoor seating area and fire pit, which made for relaxing evenings outside. One small suggestion for future guests: if you're particular about toilet paper, you may want to bring your own, as the house is stocked with single-ply. We also found ourselves wishing there was a small hatchet available for making kindling for the fire pit.The only issue we encountered was with a neighboring property near the corner of the main road and the turnoff to the rental. There are fenced dogs there, and a Rottweiler was able to get under the fence and approach us while we were walking our dogs on our first morning. It was a bit intimidating, especially since we didn't know the dog. The owner was outside and immediately called the dog back, but we chose to walk our dogs in town for the remainder of our stay to avoid any further encounters.Overall, this was a comfortable, relaxing property with fantastic outdoor space, and we'd happily stay here again.

Anniversary trip

Needed a quiet beautiful spot away from the wineries but close enough to still enjoy them. We always take our dogs traveling with us so the large yard was perfect, and the covered fire pit kept our pups tails from getting singed. There was a bottle of wine waiting for us upon our arrival. Kitchen was stocked for cooking hardware but only salt, pepper, and olive oil were available. We couldn’t find any garbage bags and let the host know who brought some by quickly with another bottle of wine. It was only 45 minutes from the Horseshoe Prairie Nordic ski area. It was in the single digits and teens during our stay so bring slippers to keep your feet warm on the floors.

The aesthetics are beautiful at this property. Delightful backyard and patio. Host does a wonderful job with providing necessities for the guests and communication was good. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was the location of the property. Surrounding homes were "less than pristine" in comparison.
