"Great little boutique hotel"

"Just a little disappointed in the cleaning people for my room there was some type of debris on my carpet. The front desk was very helpful, but it never seemed to get resolved. I don’t think the cleaning lady actually had a vacuum to use. "We loved our stay at the General Morgan Inn. We came in on a Sunday and we were one of a few guests in the hotel that evening, which was kind of nice. I will say, nothing was open in the hotel that night, so we didn't get to enjoy anything besides our room and breakfast the next morning. We did enjoy walking up to the outdoor patio in the evening and just standing around looking at the view of the city. Would 100% recommend this place! "

"The first room I was given had a LARGE spider that greated me in the bathroom! I requested another room and thankfully was given one. The convenience store area at the front desk needs replenished and maintained. The most disappointing was the free "breakfast." The buffet was very slim. Few choices. No pastries or waffles - but for some reason waffle syrup and strawberry topping were available! Scrambled eggs, steamed patty sausage and a few hard/dry biscuits. Juice was watered down and only...

"Enjoyed the pool. Good breakfast. Breakfast attendant on Saturday was very friendly and helpful, kept diners informed on coffee is brewing, more eggs coming, etc. He was the highlight of our stay."
