Electric blankets were required to be used, but unfortunately one of the side (mine!) of the double electric blanket wasn't functioning. Normally we would have reported that to the proprietors but we were aware that the Hotel had closed for the night a few hours earlier and staff gone, so we put up with it. Overall a comfortable stay for 1 night."

"Beautiful relaxing hotel. Absolutely gorgeous. The nearby walking track around the hotel was perfect for a stroll after the drive. The mountain views were amazing. I was not happy at dinner. Booked months in advance and given a table pushed against the corner wall so we could not face each other and I was facing a wall. That table should only be used for people who come last minute and you want to squeeze them in. Food was good but not great. Overall hotel is excellent."

"Room was excellent with a view over the lake. Bed very comfortable. Staff friendly and efficient. Situation on the edge of Lake Pedder superb. Food on dinner menu was somewhat limited but items we chose were delicious."

" I liked the location of the property being close to places within walking distance like the Wilderness railway. The room was neat and tidy and was generally quiet during my four-night stay. My only frustration was with the tv in the room as many a time the 'no signal' message popped up. Other than that it is a nice place to stay, and I enjoyed a Sunday dinner in their restaurant. "
