"Room was a good size, bathroom was large, with complimentary toiletries. Everywhere was exremely clean and tidy. Price for room very good. Wasn't keen on contactless check-in, but overall it worked. Would stay there again."

"We stayed at Tan Hill for part of our honeymoon and it was perfect. We stayed in Pennine view superior room and it was breathtaking. Spotlessly clean, perfect in everyway. Great choice of drinks in the bar, staff were fantastic. Breakfast was simply amazing. Great circular walk down to keld across the Pennine way"

"Generally, we had an excellent stay. I recommend if you're staying in Durham. However, two notes. 1) if you want your room cleaned, make sure the staff follow through. 2) they say "kids eat free all day," but that's only off the kids menu"
