"Ft Young is always my go to when visiting the island. That being said if you are in the older part of the hotel, getting your luggage around is a challenge as the elevator does not get you to all areas, HOWEVER there is always friendly staff to lend a hand. I was disappointed not to get a room in the new, deluxe part of the hotel. Not sure how I go about getting one. Overall I am pleased with my stay. I would say that service has improved over the years. Helpful, friendly staff"

"Spacious, with 2 patios (dining tables on each & multiple defined conversation spaces). Host lives in her own unit just below this VRBO and thus was available to answer Qs re where to find things or even offer activity & sightseeing suggestions. She also connected us with a local who made & delivered a hot 7-course dinner incorporating the local cuisine. (We all agreed that this was one of the best meals we had during our 2-wk stay.)"

"This place was great. Just a few minutes from town, but far enough that you think you're in a different world, and it's in the area of several attractions. Huge space, with an amazing living room, and balconies. There was coffee and fixins, fruit and bread waiting for us. And a nice restaurant just 2 minutes up the road. Do yourself a favor and stay here."

"24 hrs before checking in we were informed that the house we had booked wrrks in advance would not be available anymore..We had to accept a different house which was smaller than we had booked and the host made no effort to compensate us for this change..It was the worse experience I have ever received while using expedia.. None of the appliances were working..The neighborhood was not safe.. Truely ruined our vacation"
