Not very much to do in the town outside of the university.

The hotel is convenient to Middlebury and comfortable, but a little worn. A limited breakfast is available for purchase (expensive) at the hotel, but there is a better breakfast place - - Rosie's - - about a 5 minute drive south of the hotel on Rt. 7.

Nice little room for a quick stay. We were in the Reese themed room. Thoughtful amenities, the dark makeup washcloth was a nice touch! Clean room and bathroom. Responsive front desk. Will stay again when visiting family in the area.

Just loved our stay. The hot tub at night under the Wolf moon was amazing. We snowshoed on the trails, watched movies, ate in and just loved the place. Very private, clean, nice and warm and cozy. Thank you!

We would definitely stay at the Swift House agains.
It's a beautiful town, especially decorated and lit up for the Christmas holiday season.
A typical college town. Lots of travelers walking around.
Unique shopping and cafes. Excellent restaurants ie fire and ice was outstanding
It is pricey but that is the price for supporting historical places.
