My room was missing a towel, tissue and a blanket upon check in. The front desk host was good with bringing the items to my room immediately. Shower curtain was stained with specs of mold. Great location close to beach and shops. Hotel needs a revamp or should make the price even lower for what they offer.

You know you're in trouble when you're told that the elevator doesn’t work. Then everywhere you look you see shoddy workmanship. I walked with much trepidation to my room and was greeted with something that looked much like a college dorm room...sans the king sized bed. The floor had an abundance of sand and the overall cleanliness was mediocre at best. The walls were also so thin that I could hear clearly hear the couple next door who were apparently having a really good time. The only redeeming thing was the comfortable bed. That said, if I was going to create a tag line for this hotel, it would be: Traveled all day? Dog tired? We have a bed.

The customer representative for the night shift was rude. The room and bathroom were dirty even though we’re told it was cleaned. No towels at the bathroom, so my husband and I had to ask, we were given medium size two light towels. The toilet was not flushing properly. Overall, the room presentation was below minimal standard. The alarm in the room was covered by a plastic bag, no proper inspection was done before we checked in. No remote for the TV. I liked that they allow customers to leave their luggage’s in a secured room before check in. Extra charges.
The bathtub was really dirty.
The mirror, light fixtures, and bathroom condition was dirty.
Why the alarm is covered by the plastic bag?

Good for short stays

I stayed here for 3 days, it was fine, no issues, room was clean. Nothing fancy, no frills, good for a short stay, close to beach, CVS one block away, airport bus across the street. Refrigerator in room but no ice machine on the premises. A hair dryer in the room would also be helpful.

Great location, cute decor. But hire some professional cleaners, pest control and invest in towels. CLEAN, put some money and effort and people will return. Otherwise NEVER again. I would rather pay twice the amount to not sleep on filth.

This place is a good budget option but customer service is somewhat poor. Also, room was nothing like advertised. pictures may be deceiving but on the plus side location was great being two minutes walk from the beach.

Cockroaches are everywhere. The property is extremely old and outdated. I am not mad at this hotel because you get what you pay for. However, I won’t come back. The location is great, across the street from the beach. It’s definitely a hotel for tourist on a very tight budget who doesn’t need any comfort but just a bed and a sink to brush your teeth. I was happy I got a great deal, because if I was paying more for this stay I’d be disappointed.

Really good location and affordable. Unfortunately cockroaches in the fridge, shower didn't work properly. No parking passes avaliable throughout the stay, informed by front desk that you can park on the road outside the hotel after 11pm but got a parking ticket. It's worth doing your research on parking but be aware it's very expensive in miami beach

It was bearable. First room we found a roach. Went to the front desk during night shift since we checked in late and he was really accommodating. We got another room and it was nicer, but there were gnats all over the bathroom. Literally killed a whole bunch and more showed up. I guess that’s better than roaches though??

Stay away!

No towels, No Soap, No Shampoo, No Hair drier, No Iron. Parking cost $30/day. $45 resort fee for our 2 days, there is no resort, No Pool, no hot tub, no games, just a lobby and rooms. Every time one of our neighbors opened their door our door would move making it sound like someone was trying our doorknob. The place was clean, and close to the beach but maybe I'm just spoiled by other hotels that know you probably want to shower. Wishing I'd have read the reviews!

You know that feeling when you order something off Instagram, expecting luxury, but what arrives screams "budget bin Temu"? That's this hotel. The Notebook Miami Beach is the physical embodiment of false advertising. It's as if their PR team spent all their budget on Photoshop classes, because the actual place looks like the polar opposite of the online pictures. The rooms? Think "chic" meets "shabby"—but without the chic. Dirty carpets, peeling paint, and furniture that looks like it moonlights as props for a horror movie. The service? Non-existent. You'd have better luck getting a response from a ghost than from the staff here. And the amenities? What amenities? If you're lucky, you'll find a fridge that works and an air conditioner that doesn't sound like it's auditioning for a role in Transformers. The whole experience is like stepping into a time machine—except instead of going back to the glamorous Art Deco era of Miami Beach, you land in a rundown motel from the 80s. The only thing "timeless" about this place is the regret you'll feel for booking it.

They are adamant about check in time. The elevator was broken when we checked in and we had to walk up to the third floor. The decor is outdated. The bed sagged in the middle and the frame was bent. The pillows were small and flat. There was no way to adjust the AC and it was freezing in the room with thin covers on the bed. The bathroom shower was not clean and hair was all over the shower wall. The two towels that were left for us were so small and thread bare. We had no hot water when we took our showers in the evening, but there was hot water in the morning. It is a great location, just needs a little updating and cleaning.

I see a lot of bad reviews, but the price is in line with what it offers. It’s a hotel to rest and then continue your day enjoying Miami Beach. Honestly, I was afraid I might regret it because of all the reviews, but it’s actually very good for the price. I would definitely stay at this hotel again!
