"This hotel is situated in Central Turin adjacent to the Porto Nuovo station, although you do not hear any noise from there. It is ideally suited for transport links with trains, the metro, trams, buses and taxi rank all within a minute or so walk. The main shopping areas and piazzas are also within easy walking distance, as are many museums and important buildings.
The hotel itself is beautifully presented and the staff are very friendly and speak English really well. The rooms are spacious and clean with excellent ensuites. There is also a spa (extra cost) area and small gym, although even with a wall mounted aircon unit it was rather warm.
Whilst the breakfasts are plentiful the hot selection is rather limited and there needs to be a little more urgency at replenishing items when they are running out. The only other downside is that the lifts are relatively modest and are used by guests and staff alike. Whilst the staff, who are usually moving items around the hotel to service guest rooms, are always willing to let guests use the lifts first it does mean that sometimes there is a longer wait for the lift to arrive."
