"Over the last 40 years my wife and I have stayed in many hotels around the world. It would not be overstating it to say that our stay at the Mansion Merida Boutique Hotel was among the best we have stayed in. We were met on arrival by the owner, Raoul, who told us that the property, laid out around two courtyards, one containing a most welcome pool, used to be his grandfathers house. The rooms and the service were exceptional. A visit to Merida would not be complete without a night or two here."
