Nestled in the heart of Memphis’ vibrant Midtown Cooper Young neighborhood. This prime location offers a perfect blend of urban convenience and local charm, making it an ideal spot for exploring all that Memphis has to offer. Known for its eclectic mix of shops, restaurants, and cultural attractions, Cooper Young is a lively and welcoming community. Stroll through tree-lined streets and discover a range of local favorites, from trendy cafes to unique boutiques. Enjoy easy access to some of Memphis’ most iconic landmarks. Beale Street, with its rich musical heritage and lively nightlife, is just a short drive away. The historic Overton Park, featuring the Memphis Zoo and beautiful green spaces, is nearby for outdoor relaxation. Indulge in a diverse culinary scene with numerous dining options just around the corner. Explore local hotspots like The Beauty Shop, a retro-chic restaurant, or head to the Overton Park Shell for live music performances. Getting Around:
Unless walking in the neighborhood or to Overton Square/Park, then driving and Uber/Lyft are the only option. Public bus system is very poor.
Other Things to Note:
This home is about a half block from a train track. This is extremely common in Memphis as we have multiple industrial railroads that run right through town. Luckily, this particular spot is right before an unloading point for the trains so they are always going quite slow. You may hear the horn, but that is literally everywhere in the city limits.
Also, Fedex is headquartered just 5 miles down the road and planes can be heard going over head every few minutes at specific 20-30 minute periods at specific times during the day or night. It is common almost anywhere in Memphis to hear and see the parade of planes coming through. Please try to enjoy the Memphis Charm :)
