"The cabin was exceptionally beautiful and very cozy! However the last 1.4 miles to the cabin is unpaved so motorcycles be advised car still managed to get there on the bikes also since we are not big drinkers we were unaware of the cabin in a dry county and the closest liquor store is 40 min away in the middle of no where with a small selection so just plan accordingly. Will we stay there again YES! Will we recommend to friends YES! It was exactly what you need to reset and unwind!!"

I have stayed in this cabin in the past before it was owned or managed by Fireside, and Fireside has made drastic improvements to this place including cleaning up the creek front area for better access, less clutter in the cabin, less brush around the cabin, more amenities. "Great location as far as the restaurant is in walking distance and another great restaurant right down the road, just about 5 miles for downtown Mountain View. Beautiful lake to sit on the deck and look at. You can not fish from your cabin, which was disappointing, the cabin is just basic. Clean and neat, but no amenities, whatsoever, but a beautiful location."

" Very clean, very comfortable. Perfect for the two of us. Well stocked with towels and have small conveniences in the kitchen if desired. Though we didn’t need it was thoughtful to offer. Perfectly located to walk all over the square. Note. If someone were to stay in the loft I would say older children to adults. The ladder looks very steep and the loft too high for younger kids. Not at all an issue for us since just me and my husband but if we come back with more people we would opt for another...

"The house needs a deep cleaning. It looked like it hadnt been stayed in for awhile. It stinks too.Really need to get rid of the smell when you enter. Overall its condition was disappointing."
