"This review is complex. On the one hand the property is clean, well-maintained, with a beautiful view, and nice amenities like a BBQ and deck. The master suite was fantastic. Conversely, the the management company, AVANT Stay (AS) was problematic. AS advised us in advance that the dishwasher was broken and hoped to repair it before our arrival. However, this did not happen and we did not have a working dishwasher. Well prior to our stay, we inquired about a porta-crib for our infant grandson and were informed that a crib was available. Upon arriving, the crib was not in working order. AS did provide a new crib the next day but they should have checked that the crib worked prior to our arrival. Communicating with AS was difficult. They give you numbers to text that involved multiple staff. Similarly, when you call, they might pick up, or the call might roll over to a more general phone line. My impression is that AS tries to manage things remotely with a big team that is not well coordinated. I strongly prefer to work with an owner or a trusted local property manager who is highly familiar with the property and is close by. It is VR BY OWNER after all. AS did offer us 300 back due to the dishwasher not working. But this offer came after we asked, not unsolicited. I would happily recommend the property itself, but cannot recommend AS as the management company. They mean well, but try to do too much remotely."

"Location was great. Outdoor surroundings beautiful and quiet. Adequate parking. All enjoyed the game room. The kids enjoyed the spa, but the cover and the concrete surrounding area need attention. Comfortable beds and clean linens. Plenty of towels available. Kitchen was well equipped, but some items need replacing, such as cutting boards and a floor mat. The one oven and stove top that was functional needed cleaning. We were advised upon arrival that one of the dishwashers and one oven were not functional. Furnishings for the most part were comfortable; some dining chairs in disrepair. The primary bathroom toilet leaked from behind up from the floor. Outside patio areas were surrounded by planters, some with beautiful plants but also too many weeds and dead plants. Also, a broken, unsightly occasional table on the patio, along with lounge chairs that need replacement. A real plus was the extra-large screen TV in the living room for watching the FIFA World Cup matches."
