"As a worldwide traveler and reviewer, I am very impressed! We arrived at 08.00. The Hotel had previously communicated a 15.00 check in but, that they would do their best to allocate a room earlier if possible. As it turned out, this was not possible on arrival however, they safely stored our baggage until we returned at 13.30 by which hour, they had readied a room for us to occupy. We paid a small additional fee for a balcony which, afforded us a good air flow as, the rooms are NOT air conditioned however, do have an oscillating tower fan. The room was spotless. Well furnished and with smart TV, Bathroom with a bath tub and overhead shower (Water temperature excellent) as well as a mini safe, kettle with tea bags and coffee and finally, a welcome bottle of water. By the way, the hotel does provide drinks for the mini bar to be provided upon request. We cannot vouch for the breakfast as we did not book this to be provided. However, there is a nearby Bakery to have breakfast just a 5 minute walk away. The hotel does offer use of their Sauna for an additional €5 per person too. The lady receptionist was absolutely terrific as was he colleague later in the day. Friendly, attentive and informative too. YES! I do recommend this hotel to others."

"This is a wonderful hotel set on a hill next to the vineyards … family run, their attention to detail shone everywhere. Check-in was pleasant and efficient. Our room was large and clean, as was the up-to-date bathroom attached. We had a small balcony off our room that was perfect to sit with a cold drink after arrival (though there are plenty of additional welcoming spots both inside and outside the hotel). We have enjoyed a fabulous dinner that evening in their on-site restaurant- the stuffed zucchini was one of the best vegetarian dishes I’ve ever had and the white asparagus was amazing. Breakfast was also quite good and the staff did an excellent job keeping everything filled and tables cleaned. Highly recommend!"

Meals are simple and satisfying in a relaxed bistro style. The buffet breakfast is fantastic, with a wide variety of fresh options. A wonderful touch is the 24 hour trust station with snacks, drinks, and complimentary water, which makes the stay feel effortless. Step outside to gentle walking paths and open sky that invite you to slow down and reconnect with nature. A simple, beautiful escape. Deutsch Das Berghotel Kristall wirkt vom ersten Moment an beruhigend, eingebettet in eine ruhige Landschaft mit weitem Blick. Die Einrichtung ist warm und durchdacht, mit sanftem Licht, gemütlichen Sitzbereichen und einladenden Rückzugsorten.
