"The Gut Stiluppe just finished its renovation, and while the new parts look stunning, the upgrade has yet to proliferate to all parts of the place activity. Specifically, it feels the kitchen needs to really improve - morning eggs arrived at odd shapes (like scrambled eggs that weren’t scrambled before fried), and coffee with regular milk after we explained of a lactose intolerance. I think it will take a bit more time until the service gets to the level of facilities."

"Pros: The hosts were very friendly and welcoming and we really appreciated their generosity with lifts to the station on our arrival and departure. The apartment is very spacious with lovely mountain views from the veranda and the kitchen is very well equipped which made self catering easier. It is well located for the Penkenbahn and Ahornbahn cable cars and bus and train connections throughout Zillertal as well as the swimming pool, shops and restaurants in Mayrhofen. We travelled without a car...

"Pros: Mega Unterkunft. Geniale Symbiose aus alten Möbeln, aufgefrischten alten Bädern aber neuen Matratzen, guten Elektrogeräten und Basis Ikea Ausstattung. Laurens war für die Belange sofort zur Stelle. Ansonsten hatten wir die Bude, da uns der Rest zu teuer geworden ist. Wenn man also bereit ist für den Preis Abstriche im Komfort zu machen und auf Retro steht, ist man hier genau richtig. Cons: Einzig die Parkplatzsituation ist bei mehreren Autos unglücklich, da nur ein Stellplatz...
